Rodolfo Walsh Trial: the repressor Pernías says innocent, detached Astiz and it accused to the Federal Police
marzo 7 (ANCLA) - The repressor Antonio Pernías denied to have been part of the tasks force that kidnap journalist and Montoneros’ official of intelligence, Rodolfo Walsh and it made responsible to the Federal Police. The former marine made this statement while he declared for the cause of the disappearance of Walsh March 25 1977.
At the same time, Pernías pointed out that the repressor Alfredo Astiz who commanded the kidnapping of Walsh, neither had anything to see and against all the tests he/she said that the body of Walsh was never transferred to the School of Mechanics of the Armada (ESMA).
In his statment at Justice, Pernías also said that it is imputed for “an exercise of vengeance disguised of justice, but the political commandants that gave to the Army the order of annihilating is not even contemplated” for the Justice, at the same time that it was located as “expiatory male goat.”
For the kidnapping of Walsh in the corner of the avenues Between Rivers and San Juan, the fiscal Eduardo Taiano requested the elevation in opinion of the cause, imputing to Alfredo Astiz, Pernías Jorge the Tigre Acosta, Pablo García Velazco, Jorge Radice, Juan Carlos Rolón, prefect Héctor Febres, Julio Coronel, commissary Ernesto Weber and the penitentiary Generous Carlos.
