Brazil: Bush signed agreement with Lula for biodiesel
marzo 9 (ANCLA) - (San Pablo) Brazil and the United States signed a strategic society in the promotion of production of combustible ethanol for proyectarno at world level. The signatories were the Brazilian president Luis Ignacio Lula Da Silva and George W. Bush that it is of tour for Latin America Gives. Brazil is the main producing of ethanol of the world with 72 percent of the market, and after the agreement signed with Bush, environmentalist organizations fear that forests are destroyed to extend the plantation of cane of sugar. Yesterday, the Movement Without Earth and Greenpeace denounced that Brazilian landowners are fastening fire their cultivations to be overturned to the cane production. "I am very optimistic in that can benefit of those alternative energy sources", Bush said, and he/she added that Ethanol and biodiesel will help to improve the quality of the environment in our respective countries."
