Colombia’s president accused from betrayal to Homeland
marzo 9 (ANCLA) - (Bogotá) The president from Colombia, Alvaro Uribe Vélez was accused homeland traitor’s by opposition for sign the Treaty of Free Trade (TLC) with the United States, harming the national interests". The Alternative Democratic Pole (PDA) had presented this accusation before Commission of Accusation and Investigation of the Camera of Representatives. Senator Jorge Robledo declared that the TLC demonstrates the sovereignty and the national interest they are harmed very gravely". The legal accusation says that betrayal to the Homeland is when somebody impairs the national sovereignty when carrying out acts that spread to subject it in everything or partly to the foreign domain or to affect its nature of sovereign state", the senator said. Meanwhile, they began to be organized the protests for all Colombia to receive George Bush that is of tour for Latin America and it will arrive in Bogotá on Sunday 11 of March.
